Falls in hospitals are more common than you can imagine. Here is a case from the <a href="http://www.vamedmal.com/library/fall-by-patient-at-riverside-regional-medical-center.cfm">Supreme Court of Virginia where a patient fell and the hospital was forced to disclose its internal procedures and manuals that should have been used to prevent falls.</a></p>
